It's getting very painful. I feel like with every deep breath one of the ribs on the right side of my body is going to break. I'm going to have to call the doctor tomorrow and see if we can do anything. If I had long-term disability, I would stop work right now.
This sucks.

Nick, If you heard something pop when you were golfing, there is a chance you broke a rib. I did this once, not golfing but coughing when I
ReplyDeletewas pregnant(hormones flaired up my sinus condition) and it felt like I was being stabbed everytime I inhaled. It was a break.
You need yourself a big ol' magnum of Zometa
pal.
Had the same - simple deeper inhaling was really painful at some point. Also coughing was bringing the same exact effect. I take zometa as well. At this point I'm just abt to finish my 2nd cycle of chemo (I'm on cyclophosphamid, dexamethason and velcade). My spine is working as gd as it can atm, whereas PRIOR to chemo i was having huuuge trouble getting up from the bed every single morning-i was crying like a baby and screaming like a woman giving birth for half an hour. Now it is luckily gone. I think chemo itself, plus the mentioned zometa, made the difference...
