I created this blog so that I, and others, can track the progress of my Multiple Myeloma and my efforts to combat it. I am blessed to have my family and many good friends to help me defeat this and if you are reading this, you are likely included in that group. Thanks for your support -- with it, I will beat this. So for your edification and perhaps even amusement, read on!

Note to self...zzzzzz....must....take....Ambien....
Ugh.
Tuesday night four hours sleep with Ambien.
Wednesday night forgot to take Ambien, slept for 90 minutes.
Cold is lingering -- no surprise given lack of sleep.
MUST REMEMBER TO TAKE AMBIEN ON TUESDAYS *AND* WEDNESDAYS!!
Man. Myeloma is bad enough... but MM with no sleep. Crud! Tylenol PM works for me on the Dex days, that is if I don't have a fever we're trying not to mask. Sending you hypnotic sleep commands across the country.
I send the TylenolPM, for some reason it is magical on dex days...assuming no inflamed organs when the Doc tells me I can't have them.....grrrrr.
My dex days are Tues/Wed Fri/Sat. I'll think of you next time when I wake up at 3:47am and spend the next three hours cranking out work that I couldn't accomplish in a 40 hour work week!
Is Jill handy with a 9-iron? It worked for Tiger. ;o)
Now that's just wrong. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Have you tried taking the Dex before bed? Tim found he could sleep more that first night and the revved up time was more the next day. He would then be pretty beat by the next night and do OK then too.
Hello Nick. Bruce takes the Dex in the morning and doesn't seem to have to much trouble sleeping. Of course, he gets up because of the water retention. BB prescribed the Ambien for me and I sleep like a baby now.

One sheep, two sheep..... 10,000 sheep....
ReplyDeleteWOW... I'm not going to do well with no sleep. Nobody will be in the same zip code with me if I haven't had at least 6 hours...
Sending you sleeping vibes....
