I will try again.

I am so happy that you are almost done with the treatments at this time. You have been so brave and had an outstanding great attitude. I commend you with a huge applause and lets not ever forget your humour through all of this either. That's the Nick we all know and enjoy as it resonated through out your Blog. This is a keeper of a journal Nick and you may not have to work again . You may instead just have become the new J.K Rowlings of the Medical world for Cancer Information with the twist of hilarous , gut laughing stories. I speak for so many , thank you for the funny man you are. You can take life as it presents it's self with complications and give it a good shoot of Funny. LOts of love and I can't wait to see you in the Fall.
Love DianeNormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05300504660139812288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398956932575790.post-82589601790804787202009-07-10T15:35:15.377-07:002009-07-10T15:35:15.377-07:00Hey bro, good to hear things are progressing (as h...Hey bro, good to hear things are progressing (as haphazard as they may be)...I hadn't read the blog in a bit, and just saw that caterpillar tattoo reference lol - I almost fell out of my chair - my daughter came home a few weeks ago from a beach trip with her girlfriends, talked (more like teased) about getting a tattoo - and a caterpillar was one of her choices...at least, she won't be able to match that nude truck driver in terms of placement...be well, love you...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08763375711985391814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5398956932575790.post-25449025688747095242009-07-10T05:31:31.623-07:002009-07-10T05:31:31.623-07:00Nick, you do all of us a great service by being so...Nick, you do all of us a great service by being so honest about your care. You might bring about more change in health care than any in DC.
Especially agree with your post on getting test results. When I go to Mayo, I have all results and copies immediately. When I have to have test from my oncologist at home....get some numbers, no copy of the labs...I have to call them...blah.blah...
But when I test at a smaller local rural hospital, they will give me a copy of my labs if I wait(directly from the lab assistant who draws the labs--I love that place---AGAIN, THAT IS HOW IS SHOULD BE--THEY ARE MY LABS).
You know we pay for those tests, we ought to get a copy of everyone of them...besides most of us know how to read them quite well, and could catch a 'blimp' on the radar quickly, which would be a good backup in case the system doesn't. If I would have been given a copy of my labs in the years prior to diagnois of MM, I think I would have caught it sooner. You don't always see the same doc when dealing with primary care..so if you want to improve healthcare, give every patient a copy of all test and have them keep a notebook(or in the case of MM-- a file cabinet) with them.
Most in healthcare want to do a great job...you are helping them do it.
And if any from Mayo read this, I LOVE the way you do bone marrow biospy's...quick, painless...and very great staff..thanks.
Nick, have you considered becoming a author? When you do, can I get a signed copy? You have lot of material from the medical world to get started....Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09278455023826649947noreply@blogger.com
